How does the COI extraction work?
Every certificate goes through AI trained on the standard ACORD 25 form. It picks out the carrier, policy numbers, coverage limits and dates, checks them against the requirements you set, and marks the vendor compliant or not. You just see the result.
What if a certificate is blurry or unreadable?
It gets flagged, and the vendor automatically receives an email asking for a cleaner copy. When a field can’t be read with confidence, COIAssist marks it for your review instead of guessing.
Do my vendors need to create an account?
No. They reply to an email with the PDF attached, the same thing they do today. No passwords, no fees for them, nothing new to learn. That’s exactly why the certificates actually show up.
Is this insurance advice?
